After many enquiries about work stands and the absence of truly functional stands I started offering a home use work stand based on the European pro mechanics stands.
These stands do not damage paintwork and frame tubing by the use of a clamp.

Clamp style stands damage frame tubes or the seat pillar and at least will mar the paintwork of your frame immediately. In the Llewellyn stand an axle at the front fork holds the frame and a bracket supports the Bottom bracket shell. This avoids direct contact to the tubing and paintwork and gives a secure, stable work platform compared to the shaking wobbly clamp stands.

It amazes me that people will spend thousands of hard earned dollars on bikes and equipment and sometimes neglect investing a few hundred dollars on a few things to wash and do minor maintenance to their valued machinery. A little simple regular maintenance will ensure a fine looking bicycle with long drive train life with extended smooth working operation. A stand will out last a lifetime of bicycles so it makes for good sense and value. I know shops are not interested in helping customers in this respect unless they can just sell oil to you it seems!
